Dogs exported from Singapore must be fully vaccinated against canine influenza (CIV).
We also recommend vaccination against:
- Distemper
- Parvovirus
- Parainfluenza
- Bordetella bronchiseptica
- Rabies

Cats should be vaccinated with core vaccines including FVRCP and rabies, covering:
- Feline enteritis (panleukopenia)
- Rhinotracheitis
- Calicivirus
Cats must also be treated for internal parasites (nematodes and cestodes) as well as external parasites such as ticks and fleas.

Bringing Your Pet from Singapore to Australia?
Here’s What You Need to Know.

A government approved veterinarian must treat your pet with a product that kills ticks and fleas and internal parasites nematodes and cestodes (internal parasites).

You must apply for and obtain an export licence & arrange for an official veterinary health certificate endorsed by NParks prior to travel to Australia. For dogs you should also cancel your Dog Licence on PALS.

All required veterinary procedures must be completed by a government-approved veterinarian. Your pet must also be assessed as fit for travel, with no clinical signs of illness within 5 days before departure.

- Leptospira canicola – For dogs not vaccinated against Leptospirosis within 45 days before export

For Brachycephalic or Snub-Nosed Breeds
(like Pugs, Bulldogs, or Persians)

- Extra Crate Space: These breeds require 10% more space for better airflow to keep them comfortable.
- Temperature Control: We schedule flights to avoid extreme heat or cold, protecting their breathing.
- Vet Check: We are the only IPATA Certified Veterinary Hospital in the region that can perform the BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) test
- Airline Selection: We can help you to choose carriers that accommodate these breeds, ensuring a safe journey.

- Size: Spacious enough for your pet to stand, turn, and lie down comfortably.
- Material: Fiberglass, metal, rigid plastics, welded wire mesh, solid
wood or plywood (meeting IPPC standards) (There may be special requirements for certain breeds)
- Ventilation: Openings on all 4 sides to provide plenty of airflow.
- Rigid plastic containers must be securely bolted together with metal nutes and bolts.
- Spacer bars to prevent other freight from blocking ventilation.
